Maryann Platt graduated from Wesleyan University in 2011 with a B.A. in Neuroscience & Behavior. After graduating, she worked as a research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA, examining neuronal migration errors in a rat model of developmental dyslexia. Maryann came to UC Irvine in September 2013 through the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program and joined the Agalliu lab in July 2014. In the Agalliu lab, she is working on imaging T cell entry into the brain in a mouse model of PANDAS.
