Francesca is a graduate student in the Pathobiology and Molecular Mechanisms program. Francesca received her bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of St Andrews (United Kingdom) in 2012. After graduation, she moved back to New York where she completed her masters degree in Biomedical Sciences at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2014. At Mount Sinai, she researched the effects of oligomeric Abeta on glutamatergic receptors in the laboratory of Dr. Dara Dickstein. Francesca joined the Agalliu and Sulzer labs as a co-mentored PhD student in 2016.
