Charlotte Wayne

Charlotte is a graduate student in the Integrated Program in Cellular, Molecular and Biomedical studies. After graduating from Stanford University with a B.S. in Neurobiology in 2014, she worked as a research technician in the lab of Mimi Shirasu-Hiza at Columbia, studying defects in phagocytosis in a Drosophila model of Fragile X syndrome.

In the Agalliu lab, Charlotte studies mechanisms of immune cell infiltration of the brain in a mouse model of post-streptococcal basal ganglia encephalitis.
