Nicole graduated from Bowdoin College, in Brunswick, ME, with a B.A. in neuroscience. During Nicole’s senior year she completed an honors research thesis on the cellular mechanisms that underlie fast-acting steroid hormone signaling. Currently, as the lab manager, Nicole helps to maintain daily operations in the Agalliu lab. At the bench-top, Nicole studies a pediatric form of basal ganglia encephalitis (BGE) and also helps to run several IRB-approved research studies in the pediatric neurology department.
